Transformers ROTF Toy Launch

@ Toy'R'Us Mid Valley Branch

So early!

Finally, I can update! And oh, if you ever wonder what's ROTF mean, it mean Revenge of the Fallen, shortform for the movie.

I guess this is my 1st time ever to a toy launch, if I recall. I was worry I couldn't wake up and only slept around an hour. Roughly reached Mid Valley on 8am. When I arrived in front of TRU (Toy'R'Us), there weren't many people yet. But after 30mins, the TRU front door were flocked of people. Well, I did not take any photos of that because I did not want to miss my chance to get my wanted list Transformers.

1st time seeing Mid Valley empty.

Fans, scalpers and parents were waiting the door to be opened.

Let the hauling began!

Happy Leader Prime owner.

My haul.

Overall, I did not really get what I want. It's just the matter of speed that I'm lacked of. Haha. Oh well, got to wait for the next restock. Instead of getting my initial plan, which is Sideswipe, I end up getting one of the twin, Skid. Not a bad model overall. That all for now. Signing out now. Thanks for reading and see you!

It's out yesterday, retailed price for 18900yen, that's about USD179 after converting. It looks really nice and thin! With the camera build in, I can now take my NDSi out without bring out my DSLR all the time already! Hell yeah! All the pictures here are from famitsu.com! Thanks for the great coverage!

Goodness! Such long queue!

I can has Nintendo DSi?

Overall, I think Nintendo make a right move placing the NDSi sales near Christmas. Hopefully by mid 2009, we, Malaysia should be able to get a Nintendo DSi at a reasonable price. Till then, thanks for reading and see you!

Official PS3 Launch in Malaysia

I know we are slow...

But it's official launch!

Some of you guys might say, "Old news". I have to agree with that because even our neighbour, Singapore had already gotten their official PS3 launch 1 year ago and we just got our PS3 launch after PS3 goes 2 years old. I'm very proud of Sony Malaysia for bringing in PS3 and making a launch!

Gangs were thrilled to get their own PS3.

Ready to camp for the night!

Stay connected so they don't get bored.

The Launch Conference.

Some Sony Playstation loyal fan had been lining up since thursday until saturday morning, which was 12am to be the very early one to buy the Malaysia 80GB PS3. The price is RM1700 bundle with a Soul Calibur 4 game, a Soul Calibur 4 CD Holder, and the most interesting part, local Malaysia warranty which you will never need to send your PS3 outside Malaysia anymore. I'm now planning to get myself another PS3 as bring PS3 from city to city is not very convinient at all.

The 24 hours gaming marathon begun!

Battling each other to be the champion

The right guy in gray is the champion.

To celebrate the official PS3 launch for Malaysia, they came up with 24 hours gaming marathon on Soul Calibur 4 to see who won the most round among all the participant. And this event had gotten The Record of Malaysia. Way to go! Now let's go on to the what's happening during the launch party!

The Launch Starts!

Tetsuhiko Yasuda, President of Sony Computer Entertainment Asia delivered the opening address & fans were still waiting.

Fans lining up for their PS3.

Giving number token and number listing for the PS3 buyer.

Lao... I want girlfriend like her!

Nintendo players appeared on spot! Lol.

Sony PS3 Showroom.

Stocks! Malaysia version somemore!

Booth Chicks. That's not me. Duh!

That's all for now. Sony Playstation 3 will be for sell on any Sony outlets in Malaysia from 20th September onwards. I can't wait to get mine soon. Time to eat grass again! Thanks for reading and see you!

Harry Potter Launch Party

Quick! Last Page Please... Keke.

Not so much, not so little.

The crowds.

We went to Tun Jugah yesterday, roughly 6.30am. We are surprise to see someone is already waiting there and also many of them were teenages and adult. No sign of children until nearly 7am. From what I read on the news article, up to 80 people that have collected their books when its 7.30am at Popolar Bookstore. Serene and I were interviewed before the launch of HP#7 Book. Here's the article, my name is Steven.

Stacy with her HP#7 Book.

One of our friend, Stacy got her 1st book before all of us. She was lucky to preordered hers at Popular Bookstore. She paid the book at MYR109.90 but she get herself a HP#7 T-shirt. We all got eager and snatched the book from her.

Looks like he can't wait to spoil the last chapter.

A group of HP foreigner's fan. (Oh! She's looking at me!)

During the launch of the HP#7 book at Popular. There were a few news reporter who came and interview us and some other HP fans. There were supposed to be a HP#7 Launch Party but it had been forced to held back. Thanks to those hypermarket and Penguin Publisher.

Awaiting for next bookstore to open.

(From left) Baxter peeping at the book while Joseph (Right) whispering spoiler.

Since I ain't Popular consumer, I preordered mine at Times Bookstore. We walked 2 times to Parkson (which the Times Bookstore located) but it's shut tighly. So we went to Holiday Inn which is nearby and waiting for time to passby. Suddenly, a Malay girl from KL came to us, asking where to get the book. Unfortunately, right now, HP#7 book are only available for those who preordered.

Finally, I'm getting mine!

Oh yeah, Times Bookstore opened and I rush in to pick up mine. I was expecting a nice bag and a T-shirt but none where given. I only get a Times' Plastic bag. But luckily I got a 20% discount which I only have to pay roughly MYR80. We walked out and...

Ah... another interview...

Yet, another news reported came to us, asking us to stop. So, this time was Stacy and me who got ask to answer their questions. After that, as usual, they took our photos and we went back to Sarawak Plaza to have some drinks while I'm getting ready for my DS gathering at the afternoon (That would be next update already).

I got it and it's MINE!

Overall, I had fun that day. It was unusual. We get to talk with other readers. Talk about same interest. Currently, I'm still on chapter. Eagerly to know what's is happening next. That's all for now. Thanks for reading.
