Last tuesday, which is a week ago. We came to The Spring shopping mall to carry in our collectibles for display from 20th to 24th of August. Wondertoys, one of the toy shop in The Spring, invited us to display our collectibles for the public. I did not managed to stay until the last day as I'm actually going to KL for further study on the 23rd. (which I'm here at KL). I not gonna talk much cause this is rather going to be a long post. Most of these photos are taken by zoom lens. Well... my kit lens 17mm-55mm is broken.

Blackout Breakout

I can't see a thing... Again!

A Blackout outbreak throughout the whole Sarawak happened last Saturday. I was planning to blog as soon as possible but my card reader broke down and it took me time to go buy a new one. I'm broke. *sob* Anyway, 1st I thought I was like last time, only my house area got affected by I go calls from friends saying the whole Sarawak gone blackout! Goodness! I have to go see for myself, for the whole city gone blackout!

Picture taken at City Area.

Blackout started around 6.30pm and the electricity regain around 8.30pm later on. But on my house, it occurred again around 10pm for about 10 minutes and electricity regained once again. Just a short update, got my beautiful yet expensive card reader. That's all. Thanks for viewing and see you.

Big Apple Donut & Coffee @ The Spring

1st Donut specialist store in Kuching

Slow blogger am I? All this photo was taken 2 days ago, which Big Apple was having their grand opening at The Spring last Friday. As you can see, Big Apple is having a special promotion for first 100 customers to get half a dozen for free, that's 6 donut for your information. But you must buy that day's Borneo Post to get the voucher promotion.

I went there about 10.30am with another friend of mine, Ajay, thanks to him for leaking me the information. And guess what? Tons of people are already queuing up already. When we reached there, 26 customer had already taken the promotion.

What is he thinking?

Ta-da! Cut queue!

Good this we have friend queuing up since 10am. We know we sound mean but when it's already 70th+ customers we just knew each person are not allowing to use 2 or more coupon at a time. So we have 4, 3 friends and one actually held 2 coupons. So cut queue is our only choice. Sorry 101th customer!

Felt like beating him up?

DO WANT?

He is the 92th customers, while other friends of mine are 87th, 94th and 97th! So we get 24 donuts in the end! Free donut aka breakfast + lunch for us! I guess we queue up for like 2 and 1/2 hours there.

Alright, I kind of enjoy it. Well... part of it yes, and part of it no. I guess I'm too hungry already. Probably not the best donut in Malaysia but it's a good start for Kuching people to feel what it's like to have branded donut. Finally, thank you Big Apple for giving such a wonderful opportunity.

Boulevard @ Kuching

OMG, It's "big"!!!

Featuring Mat Rempit!

My 1st impression was big. Why? Because phase 2 is not yet build so seeing this building is that big already. So roughly what do we have inside this big building of Boulevard Shopping Complex.

Shy Couple.

Surprisingly, there's nothing inside the shopping complex yet. Boulevard had already taken more than half of the building. What do they sell? Clothes for men, lady and children, stationary and... pirated toys. Urgh... Anyways, as far as I know. These few restaurant had made into Boulevard, which is, KFC, Pizza Hut, Kenny Rogers, Sushi King and another I can't seem to remember.

Nothing much inside yet.

The way to enter Boulevard.

There is another supermarket at the lower ground which i find the stuff there are kind of expensive for some item compare to others. Overall, it was kind of disappointing seeing only half of the shopping complex is done yet they make it like it's done. Oh did I mention this?

You need to walk up to the shopping center if you aren't driving.

That's all for now. I sure do hope Boulevard can do much much better when the phase 2 is done building up. The Spring is opening on 10th January. I will do a visit as it's really near to my current university. Thanks for reading and see you!

I got my "Driving License"!

RM18 is your gateway to be a DK!

Woohoo, boy am I happy again to see Kuching's arcade is kicking alive again! Well... actually, the arcade is somehow been taken over by some Penang arcade or the Sunway Pyramid which are under same company and also which I cant recall. Why? Well... the token changed, 1 side with dragon and another side with C.Y.C wording. 1 token is sold for RM1 each. Heck! I'm going back to Penang to change 2 tokens for RM1! If I'm going back... Following pictures taken by my dearest VGA phone camera.

Half covered notice.

Today, as usual, I went to school, sitting in the open lab and do some surfing. Until... one of my friend came in and told me Hock Lee Center's arcade have Initial D Arcade Stage 4 (ID4) and House of the Dead 4 (HOD4)! I was shocked, and I keep asking my friend did he see thing wrongly. After some confirmation, I rush to the shopping mall! I know this is kind of old news to West Malaysian already. Well... I finished HOD4 in KL last year, so that game wont bother me much anymore. It's ID 4 I'm talking about!

The machine!

Customizing car.

I would like to say that ID4 is so much easier compare to ID3. Due to the new system and new way of driving, the drifting part had become more sensitive compare to ID3. The steering is more like the Akina Snow in ID3. I got used to the controlling just after I played around 3 to 4 rounds. The graphic is astonishing, definitely a high end arcade and not to mention, wide screen. For the crashing sound, it's quite annoying but should get used to it in a few rounds later. The music, still the same, sometime I can hardly hear the music and this time there's no song choosing, or I cant find the song selection. Lastly, customization, Sega is really clever this time, customize your avatar randomly which today I get to rotate once and I get a fugly down slope eye and I didn't update my avatar. The car customization is roughly the same as the old ID3 but this time you which to upgrade 1st and each part have their own level.

Match with my friend.

Overall, I'm very happy. And tomorrow I will be still heading down to the arcade center to blast even more challenging stages. Today, I pass all 1st 3 course with a breeze. Haha, must be gotten used to it already. Till then, thanks for reading. See ya.
