Collectibles Haul for May

I'm a sucker for limited edition.

May Haul.

So enjoying yourself on Labor Day? Well so am I! Because once again I did a haul again. Notice something on the top right? Yes, it's the Wonderfest 08 Limited Edition Figma Konata Izumi! I'm can't be any happier to be one of the 5000 units owner!

Lookie who's here.

My Figma collection are expanding again. My Figma Yuki does come with a scarf but too bad it's in Pink color and I so wish for other color! The MG Gundam Wing Zero Custom belongs to one of my friends. Just in time when I went to collect my Figma, 2 box set of SD Gundam strike my eyes, which are "SD Strike Freedom Gundam VS SD Destiny Gundam" and "Gundam Char's Counter Attack".

Figma Konata and Yuki.

Hehe, I hope people don't feel envy towards me. That's all for now. Thanks for viewing. Happy Labor Day and have a nice day!

Short Stay in KL

Shopping Spree...

I can go to KL plz?

After keeping asking my parents to let me to go KL (for like 5 times), they finally let me go! Under one condition, with some companions. Which I brought 2 of my younger cousins, but crap do we need to walk all day since we get lost a little sometime. Haha.

Taken outside Tune Hotel.

What's my main reason to go KL? Shop for model kits, while one of my cousin was shopping for his Chinese New Year clothes and another one is just for entertainment, such as arcade, gashapons and souvenirs.
---
Boy, do we ever had so much problem going to the Tune Hotel. It's a new hotel where many many people do not know it's existance yet. Tune Hotel is by Air Asia, yes you heard me right, by Air Asia. Not to say the obviousity, red and white painted hotel and toilet's accessories are need to pay seperately and also there's credit for aircondition. Nonetheless, the room still have fan and it's cheap.

The only arcade I spend in KL.

Lucky Star @ Taiko no Tatsujin 10 from SWATwolf on Vimeo.

Our 1st destination was Mid Valley. Mainly because I wanted to meet up with Doomsday for a Transformer, Jason for the R4 and hang out and to play Taiko no Tatsujin 10 in Jusco. The Taiko 10 is totally sweet! With over 100 songs and updated anime songs from Lucky Star, Haruhi, Naruto, Gintama and such. For Wangan Midnight: Maximum Tune 3 (WMMT3)? It's way better than Initial D Arcade Stage 4. With 4 player battle and top notch and loud song, nothing can beat this game! Hopefully soon enough they will bring in WMMT3 to Kuching.

Mine!!!

The path are so small I can't even walk properly.

Next, we went to Time Square and as for me SD Gundam Hunting Time! As usual the stock of the gundams in KL are enormous. But nonetheless, I bought quite some back with me. Not to mention help Darklancer to find some old musha gundams. Okay, it's almost 10pm and most of the shop were closing. Can't miss the last train or we'll be doomed!

Our dinner for the LULz.

In Tune Hotel, there's a sandwich restaurant called Subway. As I always thought those restaurants are always 24 hours and did I not know they closed at 10.30pm. We were exhausted and planned to only come down for dinner on 11pm. It's closed! We were forced to go to the 7-Eleven and buy some cup noodles.
---
The next day, I woke up early to sit on LRT and Putra train to meet on of my interent friend named Kho who helped me to buy some SD gundams way before I came to KL. Thanks alot buddy! After that we gone to Sogo, a shopping mall that's closed to our hotel, we played some arcade and have lunch there. Then, we gone back to hotel for some rest and off we go back to Butterworth.

ZOMG, Gunplaman!

Guess what are those model sleeping inside the bag and plastic bag? I'll list them out on the next post. Haha. I guess that the end of the journey for this post. Thanks for reading and see you guys back in Kuching on the 29th January!

SD Strike Gundam: Striker Weapon System

It's finally done.

The final result.

Just recently, I have finally finish painting up my SD Strike Gundam: SWS. The paint job was a pain. This SD took me roughly 3 months for me to finish up, touch up and spray a layer of coating on it. This SD is all done by the Gundam Markers as not brushing is used. It is worth the time as the result shown.

The box and the unpainted.

Taken from some site of the unpainted.

Some comparison during progress.

The project I'm doing next would be SD Wing Gundam Zero Custom. It's still under progress and as usual more paint job will be apply. Boy, I wish I can handle this paint job easily and not to mention owning an Air Brush. The following pict

That's all for now. It's pass midnight here and I have class later. Fuh, got to get some sleep. Thanks for reading and see you!

More SD hauls

More and more SDs are coming out!

Lately, XL-Shop had a lot of SD Gundams restocked. I bought quite a number of SD Gundams despite so some old SD Gundams had been restocked and I thought this is my chances to grab what I wanted to have.

So, here's what I got:
  • Shibai Sazabi
  • Gundam Astray Red Frame
  • Gundam Starghazer
  • Gundam Astray Gold Frame
While the other two was bought online and locally. I got the Gundam Force Impulse for on RM18 with free shipping somemore. Since I won 2 Shin Asuka for my club's anniversary, couldn't help getting a Gundam to pair with him. Honestly, I hate Shin Asuka.

Surprising, I saw one local store at my town selling this Musha Gundam, Gundam Daishogun (Gundam Evolve Version). At a price for RM50, it's quite expensive actually but since it's hard to find. Well... couldn't hurt spending a little bit more on it.

Talking about buying more and more Gundams, which make my collection more and more unassembled. Goodness, wonder when will I finish up my Gundams.

My Collection so far.

That's all for now. Looking forward to blog sometime again. Recently, I'm spectacularly busying with my school work. Final exams is coming soon, lots and lots of assignment to be accomplish. Alrighty, thanks for reading and see ya!

Sangoku SD Gundams

Another parody for SD Gundam.

The 3 brothers.

A while ago, Bandai announced new series for SD Gundam. A Romance of Three Kingdom series. Right now they only released Lui Bei, Zhang Fei and Guan Yu. Lui Bei is the main character for this series.

Comic given, so far 3 volumes.

The reason why these SD gundam are worth buying because they come with a booklet and comic in full color! Lui Bei will be included a A1 size of 2 sided poster and a comic! These SD Gundams aren't expensive at all! I got mine for MYR22 (USD6.5) each.

Folded Special Book.

A1 size double sided poster.

The special book contain an A1 size poster while another side is the roughly explain storyline and character introduction for this series.

I was suppose to look for Transformers toys but end up buying these 3 SD gundams. Haha. That's all. Thanks for reading.

SD Blu Duel Gundam

A fat SD Gundam brought to you by Bandai.

Art Box, Keroro + Kero Ball!

I bought a SD Gundam for my Keroro... I mean for myself. I'm quite impress on how Bandai manage to make a Gundam with pack of armor into a SD mode, which turns out to be fat in another way. Nevertheless, the SD Gundam look pretty and cool. Though I never like the Gundam Seed Stargazer's pilots. The gundam looks cool though.

The runners and booklet.

The runner and color, as usual, simple and plain. Heavy lining and paint job is needed for SD Gundam. This Gundam Seed Stargazzer is a good start to collect the whole set of the series as the SD Gundam for this series is almost complete. Stargazzer Gundam SD is releasing this coming August. So, so far, there are Strike Noir SD, Verde Buster SD and Blu Duel SD.

That's all. Another unassembled Gundam added to my list. Swoosh! I wonder when in the world I will take my sweet time building them all. You can get this SD Blu Duel Gundam at XL-shop for only USD8.5 or MYR29.90 (Not yet include shipping fee yet). Anyway, thanks for reading.

Finishing up my Gunpla

So many Gunpla yet so little time.

With my noobish skill on Gunpla marking and painting. I need a lot of time on assembling, painting and marking a Gunpla. Oh well, I finally finished up my SD Strike Gundam: Striker System Weapon, took me roughly 3 weeks. Though, the weapon are not completely colored yet. The knife are actually taken from the SD Strike Gundam. Here is the finishing work.

The backpack could be a nice stand.

On the other hand, I have a Gundam Grossbone X1 Ver. Ka. Its only barely halfway done. I have difficult time on the head and nearly lost a part on the waist. Luckily I found it back! Sigh... wish I have more time and patient on doing all this Gunpla I have bought. Its really late night here and I planned to stop assemble it at the moment. Here is the result.

Halfway done.

Gunpla list which I have not yet started to assemble:
  • SD Gundam Wing Zero Custom
  • SD Gundam Strike Freedom
  • SD Gundam Freedom
  • SD Gundam Strike Noir
  • SD Gundam Verde Buster
  • SD Gundam Blu Duel
  • SD Gundam Crossbone X1
  • MG Gundam Crossbone X1 Full Clothes
Now, when in the world I can finish all those? Oh well, one by one then. Thanks for reading.
