Some of you guys might say, "Old news". I have to agree with that because even our neighbour, Singapore had already gotten their official PS3 launch 1 year ago and we just got our PS3 launch after PS3 goes 2 years old. I'm very proud of Sony Malaysia for bringing in PS3 and making a launch!

Some Sony Playstation loyal fan had been lining up since thursday until saturday morning, which was 12am to be the very early one to buy the Malaysia 80GB PS3. The price is RM1700 bundle with a Soul Calibur 4 game, a Soul Calibur 4 CD Holder, and the most interesting part, local Malaysia warranty which you will never need to send your PS3 outside Malaysia anymore. I'm now planning to get myself another PS3 as bring PS3 from city to city is not very convinient at all.

To celebrate the official PS3 launch for Malaysia, they came up with 24 hours gaming marathon on Soul Calibur 4 to see who won the most round among all the participant. And this event had gotten The Record of Malaysia. Way to go! Now let's go on to the what's happening during the launch party!

E308 : Sony Press Conference

This is gonna be a long update!


So I guess some of you guys might already know that actually Sony wins the best Press Conference for this year E3 2008. Sony had reveal lots of feature and exclusive games for their PS3 and not to forget the PS2 and PSP.


*Those highlighted in RED are title I'm looking forward to.

Let's begin with the Playstation 3,
Sony announced a new Core Pack for 80GB PS3 which includes a DualShock 3 for the same price as the current 40GB PS3 package. Starting effectively on September.

Sony had announced a PS2 Slim Bundle Pack for Family, which includes a Lego Batman: The Video Game and a Justice League DVD for USD149. According to Sony, this year PS2 will offer over 130 titles and these are the few game shown.

What a long updates! Practically Sony was giving out all their best in this year E3 2008. After Final Fantasy XIII is no longer an exclusive for Playstation 3, I suppose Sony will have to work even harder to gain more exclusive title. That's all for now. Thanks for viewing and see you!

My Monitor Died on Me.

It's sad when it does.

Just yesterday when I'm going out to university and I smelled something weird near my PC. That time my screen on the monitor went crazy. Something like it shrink to 50%. I thought I can fix it by knocking the monitor for a while after I came back from university.

Guess what? After I came back and knock the monitor again. The weird smell came across again. Boy... this time no screen appear, total blackout! I guess my Dell 17" CRT monitor died on me. Sucks. Untill today...

Ta-da!

No... I didn't buy a new monitor. Instead I went out to get myself a VGA cable, which cost me RM32 (Kind of expensive for just a cable). Plug the cable from my CPU to my dad's 32" LCD HDTV. How nice could that be? Since my dad isn't around at the moment. I will be using this method for a while. Pretty nice eh?

I bought this set of PS2 karaoke system back in year 2004 when I first saw it at EB Games and Brisbane. I bought it down. Friends laugh at me for buying such game. But in the end, they enjoying singing together and laughing together.

The Package

The package comes with 2 microphones, 1 adapter for plugging in the microphones and a game itself. The quality is done very well. The game recognize your high voice and pitch to match the song well and score well at the end of the song. The selection songs is all very well done but sadly, there is no online song download. So you are basically stuck with the song they gave.

Applause! Applause! I'm a Pop Star! Right...

So far for what I known for Singstar had release many series already. These are the title I knew:

• Singstar Pop
• Singstar Rocks
• Singstar Amped (Release in Aug 2007)
