Under Progress

It's been months...

This character of mine, Tatsuya-chan had been revamped for years already. You could say this is one of the latest. So far, no progress which is color had been applied. No time and I am lazy. Heh. I will show you all how my character's been done step by step.

1st of all, I did a sketch out of a A4 paper. Usually I prefer using 3H for shading and H for lining during sketching.

1st result.

Revise for more realistic look? Well... time to edit more. This time I thicken the muzzle and the hair flows which the hair is more lively.

2nd result.

Finally, for the sketching part. I would really prefer to thicken the line and also clearing off the dirtiness and irrelevant artline. Thickening the line would help you a a lot in inking.

Final result for sketching.

Next mostly for those who don't own a table would do some inking 1st before scanning the art into the computer and do vectorized using Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator. Well... Im no good on vector as well. So can't teach you guys here. I usually used 3 kind of pen for inking, which is 0.3, 0.5 and 0.8. Here's the result after inking.

Inking result

After finish inking, time to scan into the computer and do some vectorized. Vector is important as when you color the piece of art, separate parts into layers is very useful as things might go wrong and you can delete a only part of it. Hehe.

Final result w/o coloring

Fuh... 5 steps. Its not really hard when you get use to it. Im not teaching people any art related stuff. Just wanna blog about my character's progress. Thanks for reading.
